Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using VasnaLok ("VasnaLok", "we", "our", or "us") at vasnalok.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") along with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, you must leave the Platform immediately.

2. Eligibility: Strictly 18+

The Platform publishes adult fictional content intended solely for persons aged 18 years or above. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher);
• Accessing adult-oriented fictional content is legal in your jurisdiction;
• You will not allow any minor to access the Platform through your device or connection.

3. Nature of the Platform: Fiction Only

VasnaLok is a creative storytelling and fictional literary publishing platform. All stories, characters, names, dialogues, plots, incidents, and depictions are entirely works of fiction. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or to real events, is purely coincidental. Nothing on the Platform should be taken as factual reporting, advice, or encouragement of any real-world conduct.

4. Licence to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and read content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or publicly display any content without prior written permission;
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content at scale;
• Feed Platform content into artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, datasets, or training pipelines;
• Translate and republish stories on other websites or apps;
• Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — stories, text, artwork, design, and layout — is the exclusive property of VasnaLok and its contributing authors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 of India and applicable international treaties.

Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a notice to vasnalok@gmail.com with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) the URL of the allegedly infringing material; (c) your contact details; and (d) a statement of good-faith belief and authority to act. We review valid notices expeditiously and remove or disable access to infringing material in line with Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000 and the IT Rules, 2021.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload, transmit, or share any content involving minors in any sexual context;
• Post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or infringing material through any interactive feature;
• Attempt unauthorised access to the Platform, its servers, or other users' data;
• Interfere with the Platform's operation, including introducing malware or overloading systems;
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose under Indian law.

7. Third-Party Advertising

The Platform is free to readers and supported by third-party advertising (including ExoClick and similar networks). Ads are provided by third parties; we do not endorse advertised products or services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

8. Grievance Redressal

In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we have appointed a Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and dispose of them within 15 days of receipt. Complaints about impersonation or non-consensual intimate content are prioritised and acted upon within 24 hours as mandated.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, reliability, uninterrupted access, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, VasnaLok, its owners, authors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VasnaLok, its owners, authors, and affiliates against claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any operational reason.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Pali, Rajasthan, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time; material changes will update the "Last updated" date below. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
