The Booking Error That Left Us in One Room for the Entire Weekend
The receptionist looked genuinely apologetic.
“I’m very sorry, sir. There was a system error. We only have one room left in the entire hotel, and it’s a single king. The conference has booked out everything else.”
I stared at her, then at Kabir, who stood beside me with his overnight bag. My colleague. My senior. The man I had been carefully not staring at during every meeting for the past eight months.
Kabir exhaled through his nose. “We’ll take it.”
That was how it started.
The room was on the 14th floor. One large bed. One bathroom. Floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the city. The air felt too small the moment the door closed behind us.
We were polite at first. He took the left side of the bed. I took the right. We kept a careful strip of mattress between us like a border. I changed in the bathroom. He did the same. We said goodnight like strangers.
I woke up at 2:14 a.m. to the sound of rain against the glass and the realisation that I was burning.
Kabir was still awake. I could tell by his breathing. The space between us had disappeared. His hand was resting on the sheet near my hip, not quite touching.
“You’re awake,” he said quietly.
“Yes.”
Silence stretched. Then his fingers brushed the side of my thigh. A question. I answered by shifting closer.
The first kiss was slow and almost careful, like we were both giving the other person one last chance to stop. Neither of us did. His mouth opened over mine and the careful part ended.
He rolled me under him in one smooth motion. My sleep shirt was pushed up. His hand slid between my legs and found me already wet. He made a low sound in his throat.
“Fuck,” he muttered against my neck. “How long have you been like this?”
“Months,” I admitted.
That was all it took.
He dragged my underwear down and tossed them somewhere behind him. I pulled at his t-shirt until he sat up and tore it off. Then he was back, settling between my thighs, the thick heat of him pressing against me.
He pushed inside in one long, unbroken thrust.
I bit down on his shoulder to stay quiet. He was bigger than I had imagined, stretching me open until the burn made my eyes water. He didn’t stop. He gave me a few shallow strokes to let me adjust, then started fucking me in deep, steady drives that made the headboard tap against the wall.
I wrapped my legs around him and met every thrust. His hand found my wrist and pinned it above my head. The other gripped my hip hard enough to bruise. Every time he bottomed out I felt it in my stomach.
I came first, sudden and sharp, clenching around him. He cursed and kept going, chasing his own release. When he came he buried himself as deep as he could and held there, pulsing inside me.
We stayed locked together, breathing hard. Rain still lashed the windows.
After a long time he pulled out. I felt the slow slide of his cum leaving me. He looked down between my legs, watching it, and something hungry settled in his expression.
“We’re not done,” he said.
He wasn’t asking.
The second time was slower. He turned me onto my stomach, pulled my hips up, and entered me from behind. One hand wrapped in my hair, the other reaching under me to rub slow circles over my clit. He fucked me like he had all night and intended to use every minute.
I came twice more before he finally let go again, grinding deep and filling me a second time.
We slept after that. Or tried to.
I woke again just after five with his mouth already between my legs. He licked me slowly, thoroughly, until I was shaking and pushing against his tongue. Only then did he crawl up my body and slide back inside.
This time we stayed face to face. He watched me the entire time. When I came he kissed me through it, swallowing the sounds I couldn’t hold back.
By the time the alarm went off for the first conference session, the sheets were wrecked and my body felt used in the best possible way.
Kabir sat up, ran a hand through his hair, and looked at me over his shoulder.
“We still have two more nights,” he said.
I stretched under the sheet, feeling the pleasant ache between my legs, and met his eyes.
“I know.”
He smiled then—small, dark, and full of promise.
The booking error had given us one room.
We were going to use every hour of it.
